About

Hello, I’m Kevin. I’m an actor, writer, director, and multi-skilled filmmaker from Scotland.

I studied MDes Sound for the Moving Image at the Glasgow School of Art, and my graduation film ‘Identical’ won the BAFTA Scotland New Talent Award for Sound in 2015.

In 2018, I graduated as student of the year from Glasgow Caledonian University’s MA TV Fiction Writing programme, thanks to a scholarship from Warner Bros. Creative Talent.

My short film ‘When Abbie Met Emmy’ premiered at BFI Flare in 2019 and ‘Double Word Score’, directed by Keith Allott, was selected as part of the DepicT! 2020 programme at the Encounters Film Festival. ‘Lifelike’, also directed by Keith Allott, premiered at The Shortest Nights film festival in 2021. In February 2024, my short film ‘Rest and Be Thankful’ had its world premiere at the Big Teeth Small Shorts Film Festival in Chicago.

My pilot script 'Bad Influence' placed in the finals of the ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship 2020 and, in the same year, my feature script ‘Ruthless’ placed in the finals of the ScreenCraft Action & Adventure Screenwriting Contest. I have recently written several episodes of BBC Scotland’s continuing drama ‘River City’.

I recently completed my BA in Acting at New College Lanarkshire and graduated with distinction.
